Fun with Friends

So, there’s a small group of us who usually play games together – board games and video games, alike.

Usually, we keep it to the weekends as a way to have fun and get together and catch up since we don’t really get together during week days. But, today was SPECIAL. My friend and I, being the dorks that we are, went out to buy American Idol for the XBOX 360 and played for a solid 2 hours without pause. It’s been a few hours since she left and my jaw still hurts from the laughs and singing and games.

Genuine friends are difficult to come by because of the ridiculousness of the human brain; the selfish desires of some people. However, I feel like I am truly blessed for having more than a handful of people I can rely on without inhibitions. Although we may have our little arguments, I’ve never doubted whether or not these relationships will last.

I think the people you love are the people you ought to hold on to and not let many things come between the two, learn to agree to disagree and let things go. Grudges never benefit a relationship and it’s easier to talk out a problem as problems just grow larger the more you think about it. Let me be cheesy and say, friends and family are like the soil in the field of life. My happiness makes me spew cheesy lines.

I wonder why I still like

I suppose it’s due to insanity
Upon seeing you, I lose clarity
I just burst out with laughter
Our relationship is sought after
We have our ups and downs
Together we are clowns
